Student Grievance Cell

The Student Grievance Cell is comprised of the Principal and the HODs of all the departments. Every month the Student Grievance Cell meet to discuss about the suggestions, if any is received through the Grievance Redressal Portal in the website. The cell constantly monitors the results, the developments in students and issues guidelines for the smooth and effective functioning of the institution.

Value Added Courses

We are a member of SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a programme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Local Chapter (LC ID: 3296) coordinated by IIT-Madras. Through, the College Membership, students can get access to an enormous amount of study materials for various subjects and courses.All the course materials are available free of cost under SWAYAM, however leaners who require SWAYAM Certificate from GOI should register for the final proctored exams that come at a nominal fee and attend in-person at designated centers on specified dates.

Certificate Courses

We have registered as a member of SWAYAM (Local Chapter ID: 3296) and have signed MOUs with companies to provide internships, In-Plant trainings, Project development support and placements. Through the certificate courses provided by the industry experts our students and staff members get a hands-on experience of the latest tools and equipment used by the industry.

Co-Curricular Activities

The College participates in inter-collegiate technical programmes and hosts technical seminars, paper presentations, symposiums, etc. all round the year. The college also encourages students to participate in company internships, in-plant trainings and to attend on-line courses and certificate programmes. Our students have participated in various programmes and have won accolades on several occasions to our credit.


Examinations are organized and scheduled by the Examination Committee comprises of the effective execution of the evaluation reforms introduced by the University. The institution has an Internal Examination cell and University Examination Cell headed by Associate Prof. Usha Nandhini, Asst. Prof. Prakash J.P. and Asst. Prof. Pratheesh J.P.

o The Examination Committee meets periodically to discuss all the examination related matters. The Internal Assessment Examination performance of the students is monitored by the HOD, Dean, Principal and the necessary feedback is given to the concerned faculty members. Review meetings are conducted by the HODs after each assessment examination to assess the level of understanding of students in different subjects and for corrective actions based on the individual class result analysis report. Remedial/Special Classes are conducted for the slow learners and absentees.


The College has a full time Physical Education Instructor and all the students are encouraged to participate in inter collegiate sports meets organized by Anna University. Our students practice in the sports events of their interests and take part in the sports events, when they are announced.

Extension Activities

The institution encourages and promotes student community and faculty community to actively take part in extension activities and community development activities. To sensitize the student community our NSS unit plays a vital role. The institution has a NSS unit with a total number of 50 students. With the help of this NSS unit and other supporting team, our institution organized several activities giving importance to social outreach for helping the neighborhood and also to instill social responsibilities in the young minds. The institute is undertaking its extension activities in nearby villages. The learning space is not limited to the classroom. The institute is very actively involved with NGOs and other organizations to conduct various extension activities.
